Indian fashion designers set to boost textile clusters of India

In a meeting with Union Textile Minister Santosh Gangwar, fashion designers of India have agreed to extend their helping hand to boost the traditional Indian textiles and handicrafts. The Union Textile Ministry is planning to rope in ace fashion designers from Mumbai and they would organize fashion shows to take the local art to the national and international level. The group was led by BJP’s spokesperson and a fashion designer Shaina NC, along with Manish Malhotra, Ritu Kumar, Reena Dhaka, Anita Dongre and Sandeep Khosla.
