Pfaff Industrial, the German manufacturer of industrial sewing machines has launched the new series 571/574/591 (mechanical versions) and 1571/1574/1591 (electronic versions) for manufacturing shoe uppers. The rugged and newly-designed postbed with permanently lubricated roller bearing and highest precision manufacturing of all moveable parts ensure a long service life. The powerful feeding concept with feed wheel and driven roller presser ensure easy topstitching of various material thicknesses with a steady stitch length and vibration-free sewing. The slim postbed permits simple and efficient handling of small shoe uppers as well. An adjustable thread lever enables the use of elastic threads. The machines are compatible with the entire range from light to medium to heavy weight materials and are equipped with under bed trimmers, auto-bartack, modern control panel and an LED lamp for adequate lighting at the needle point.
The electronic machines 1571, 1574 and 1591 are equipped with additional technical features wherein transport elements roller presser, feed wheel and needle bar are individually driven by stepping motors, which ensure exact and easy-to-reproduce stitch lengths. Better quality is achieved by stretching and compressing the material whilst stitching in the lining on the heel.
