The 54th DORNBIRN MAN-MADE FIBERS CONGRESS taking place from 16 to 18 September 2015 will accentuate lectures and issues that have a determining influence in future and offer innovative fields of application of fibers. More than 100 specialized papers dealing with various subjects like fiber and filament innovations, fictionalization and adaptation of fibers and surfaces, nonwovens/filtration, environment and health and advanced fiber and processing technology will be discussed at the event. According to the organizers, in recent years Dornbirn- MFC has become a global brand, which is borne out by the growing number of both participants and the countries they represent. The organizers are attaching importance to environmentally friendly travel arrangements, CO2 reduction, ecological catering, eco- friendly accommodation and material and waste management, as their endeavor is to make the Dornbin-MFC confirm to the guideline of Austrian Eco-label for Green Meetings and Green Events.
