To promote leadership among the young generation involved in Indian apparel export industry, Apparel Export Promotion Council’s (AEPC) initiative ‘Progen’ was launched recently. AEPC is the apex body of Indian apparel export industry.
So far, Progen has 108 members across India, divided into 8 zones. Each Zonal Head will attend the Executive Committee (EC) meeting of AEPC, exchange ideas with other members of Progen, and share their views with the EC. The primary target for the young members are new ways of marketing with focus on social media, more and more use of information technology in apparel manufacturing and trade.
