Walmart inks deal with Renfro Corporation to create 440 job

A deal has been inked between US retail giant Walmart and the Renfro Corporation. The agreement aims to create 440 jobs at Renfro’s manufacturing facility in Fort Payne, Alabama. The deal is part of Walmart’s January 2013 US Manufacturing Commitment to buy an additional US $ 250 billion in US products supporting American jobs over 10 years. Consumer files complaint against Walmart

A Michigan consumer, Dorothy Monahan, has reportedly filed a complaint in US District Court against Walmart Stores, on the issue of selling products falsely labelled “100% Egyptian Cotton”.  The complaint accuses the retailer of violating US laws governing textile fibre labelling and advertising.
