NIKE bags first denim patent

American sportswear giant NIKE has bagged patent for its athletic denim. The intellectual property wing of the retailer entered this new category. The patent also covers the term “artificially reinforced denim” which refers to a hybrid jeans-jogging pant. NIKE’s revenue soars in China

US-based sports giant, NIKE has announced six months financial results for the period ending on 30th November, 2016 which reveal that China has overtaken Western Europe for the brand by noting 19 per cent increase in sales, taking the revenue to US $ 2.08 billion.
