Japan grows in MMF production in April ’17

The Japan Chemical Fibres Association has reported that the country’s man-made fibre (MMF) production in the month of April, 2017 increased by 2.8 per cent over the same month last year. According to the report, Japan managed to produce 79,590 tonnes of MMF out of which the synthetic fibre production decreased by 3.1 per cent to 62,680 tonnes, while cellulosic fibres grew by 33 per cent to 16,910 tonnes on year-on-year basis.
