Transport vehicles ban hampering work in Surat (India) textile market

Textile bodies have urged Surat, Gujarat (India) police to revoke the ban imposed on the entry of transport vehicles delivering unfinished polyester fabric. A 150 KLD Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) project, at Ajrakhpur, Bhuj (Gujarat), has been assigned to Northern India Textile Research Association (NITRA). The organization has been assigned with the task of implementing this project by Ministry of Textiles through Handicrafts Mega Cluster Mission (HMCM).
