‘WORKERS’ VOICE REPORT, 2016 – The Working Conditions in Bangladesh’s RMG Industry after Rana Plaza’ is a  result of a joint project of Awaj Foundation and Consulting Service International Ltd., Hong Kong. The main objective of the report is to raise awareness about the working conditions in Bangladesh’s apparel industry. This report uses survey data from interviews with 1,007 workers that were taken in 2015-16 to evaluate the working conditions in 333 textile and garment factories in Bangladesh.

Workers were interviewed between November 2015 and March 2016 by the staff of Awaj Foundation. The report concludes that the conditions of work in Bangladesh’s apparel industry continue to be unacceptable for most of the workers. 91 per cent workers face abuses…
