After opening its largest store, which offers casual wear for both men and women, in Romania last week, Turkish fashion retailer Colin’s is now mulling over having 31 more stores in the country by the end of 2018.
Alparslan Varol, Country Manager of the company averred, “Colin’s came to the Romanian market directly in 2011, the store in Palas Iasi being the 9th in the country and the largest so far. By the end of 2018, we aim to have a total number of 40 stores in Romania.” Established in 1983, the brand operates around 600 stores across 68 countries world over.

There has been a barrage of retailers coming up to expand their horizons in the Romanian market. Fashion retailers like Koton (recently opened two new stores in the country) and LC Waikiki have too announced expansion plans in Romania. Even the sportswear retail giant Decathlon, in association with Belgian retailer Mega Image, has opened its biggest ever store in Romania, which is spread over the area of 4,000 square metres, offering products for more than 50 different sports.
