6th edition of Home Expo India concluded yesterday at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida, near New Delhi, India. Around 1,200 overseas buyers, buying agents and their representatives including domestic retail volume buyers visited the three-day long event, revealed Rakesh Kumar, Executive Director – EPCH.
He further informed that Home Expo India has taken shape over six editions as a strategic sourcing platform to meet India’s leading manufacturer exporters of home textiles, furnishing, furniture, houseware and decorative and allied products as well as artisans and craftsmen from select craft concentration regions.
Pier 1 Imports, USA, Atlas, Gmbh, Germany, Kangaroo, Germany, Ienowa Co. Ltd. Japan and Hunter Furniture are the main companies who came to source their requirements from the home furnishing expo. Domestic retail volume buyers also visited the show to source the requirement from exhibitors.

Ajay Shankar Memorial awards, instituted in the memory of late former Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) for best designed and displayed marts, were also distributed to the participants in three product categories such as houseware and decoratives, furnishing-flooring and textiles, and furniture & accessories categories.
