A half day seminar on “Profitability in Sustainability; Processing the Challenge” was recently held at Hotel Lemon Tree in Gurgaon (India) where Subhash Bhargava, MD, Colorant was the Guest of Honor.
Subhash focused on the present position of dyestuff industries and how the big players in India and China are playing their role in price fluctuation of dye intermediates. Addressing the company’s struggle to become a consistent supplier in reactive dyes, he announced the establishment of dye intermediate plant at Saykha, Bharuch, Gujarat (India).
Organized by the SDC India officials, the seminar was attended by Gurgaon, Faridabad, Pilkua process house owners and technicians. Vinay Singh Tanwar, MD, Sushila Tex Fab also led a panel discussion of technocrats.
Furthermore, Dr. Mahapatra, President, Colorant discussed about new ranges of sustainable reactive dyes launched by Colorant Ltd. since last few years which save time, energy, water, etc. in dyeing of cotton fabrics. He also emphasized on using Colron CN and Colron SF dyes for light/medium shades and Colron GLX/Colron CES dyes to be used for dark/heavy dark shades.
Colorant caters to 650 end-users and exports to about 15 countries around the globe.
