Arvind Mills Gears up for Retail Competition

: Sanjay Lalbhai’s Arvind Mills has decided to de- merge its branded apparel business and Retail business into wholly owned subsidiaries. According to him, this step is being taken to bring enhanced financial focus on these entities and look at possible alternatives for fund raising in these vehicles at an appropriate time in future. The new format will be operational by April 1, 2009.
