A major fire recently swept through the godown of Gokaldas Exports Limited in Bangalore gutting huge quantities of cloth bundles. The godown spread in an area of 8,000-10,000 sq. ft. was totally gutted. No casualties were reported as the incident took place in the wee hours. Meanwhile, the godown has been sealed for further enquiries, said fire officials.
